| Hello! My name is Rollan Yrauda. I am 21 Years of age. I am now in the 1st year of my college education at Misamis University in Ozamiz City. My course is Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. It will take me 5 more years to finish my course. I now live at Balay San Columbano in Ozamiz City. I am very fortunate that I was recommended to Lolo Father Kill and was accepted into the program at Balay San Columbano. Before I lived in Barrio Commonwealth in the town of Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. Lolo Father Kill was assigned in our place when my father was still a young boy. My father is a farmer and he works hard to provide our family with food to eat. My mother cares for the family and for our home. We are 7 children in our family. I was able to go to High School in the government High School in our Barrio. After doing my chores early in the morning, I would walk to school. It was a couple of miles, but i really wanted to get ahead. While I was going to High School, I would often stop by the shop of my friend. He fixed radios for our neighbors. Over the years I learned a lot about electronics. I planned to go to school to learn more about electronics, but the government closed the trade school that I had hoped to attend. Lolo Kill had helped my uncle go to school as an agriculturalist and he was going to send me to school. But then his wife died of cancer and two years later he died of cancer also. They were still very young and their children are still in elementary school without any parents. It was my uncle who recommended me to Lolo Kill before he died. That is why I pray for him every day and thank God that he did that for me. I thank God for all of those who are helping Lolo to care for us.
