| Hello and Good Day to you! My name is Maylyn Grace Colon. My friends call me May May (May-may). I am 18 Years of age. I am now in the 2nd year of my college education at Misamis University. My course is Bachelor of Science in Nursing. It will take me 2 more years to finish this course. I now live at Balay San Columbano in Ozamiz City. I am very fortunate that Lolo Father Kill saved me off of the life on the street and accepted me into the Educational and Rehabilitational program at Balay San Columbano. Before I lived in Lantungan, which is a poor barrio of the town of Aurora in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur. We are 4 children in our family. Even though my father works every day, there is not enough money to put us through school. Lolo Kill helped my mother through school and she is a teacher. But even with her salary, my parents still can not afford to send us to school. My brother, Francis, is here also. Our parents do help Lolo provide us with our food and our personal needs. However, the cost of tuition and lodging in Ozamiz is far too expensive. That is why I work so hard at my studies because I do not want to let down my parents and all the wonderful people who help Lolo to help us. I thank all of those who are helping Lolo to care for us.
