Hello! My name is Glaiza Hernando. I am 15 years of age. I am now in the 4th year of my High School education at Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades in Ozamiz City. It will take me at least 4 more years to finish my college course after High School. I live in Barrio Maningcol in Ozamiz City. That is where our High School is located. I am very fortunate that I was recommended to Lolo Father Kill and was accepted into the program at Balay San Columbano. We are 4 children in our family and I am the youngest. My father was a carpenter, but he died when I was still 5 years old. My mother has supported us ever since my father died. She work as a clerical aide. She makes less than $100 per month. That is not really enough even for our food, but we get by. Without the help of others I could not go to school because there just is not enough money. I want to complete my college education and be able to support my own family some day and help others like I have been helped myself. Maybe you are the one who is helping me now and are already a part of my success so far. I thank God for all of those who are helping Lolo to care for us.
